Deloitte Thailand has been certified as an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) under the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ) framework, becoming the first among the major international professional services firms in Thailand to receive the accreditation.
Awarded by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), this certification enables Deloitte Thailand employees to accumulate the three years of practical work experience required to qualify as a Chartered Accountant of Singapore while working in Thailand. This allows them to pursue a globally-recognised qualification while gaining real-world audit and advisory experience.
As an ATO, Deloitte Thailand will support candidates in pursuing the Singapore Chartered Accountant qualification through structured training and mentorship, while allowing them to fulfil Thai licensing requirements concurrently. Participants will build practical experience through client engagements, guided by mentors who support their development and track competency progression. This practical experience builds on foundation and professional programme modules that auditors are required to complete on the SCAQ pathway.

By being part of the programme Deloitte Thailand joins a global network of employers recognised for maintaining high standards in professional training, mentorship and development for aspiring Chartered Accountants.
In Thailand, ISCA has expanded its collaboration with leading universities, including Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University and Kasetsart University, to promote the SCAQ pathway and better prepare students for careers in accountancy. Students may also receive exemptions from selected SCAQ foundation programme modules based on relevant university coursework.

The SCAQ programme and CA (Singapore) designation are internationally recognised through reciprocal agreements with other professional accounting bodies, supporting greater global mobility for qualified professionals.
